You could also do something similar with darker paper and different dilutions of bleach mixed with water. We did this in high school in one of my art classes. Basically you'd focus on the highlighted areas of a picture and then the different dilutions are used for that, as it bleaches the color out of the paper. It's cool.

Your so fun and inventive! I am so glad I am subscribed and to have found your channel after you got together with the other ladies at play list live! What a bonus. Please keep doing what you enjoy and we will keep watching. Oh I think the camera settings with lighting fluctuations this is the cause the moire patterns we see in the fabric sheet. Done this for years in photography, I’m surprised no one knows about this. Also really wish i could help. The actual process costs alot for paper and chemicals but you can get more detailed shapes and shades. With developer chemical it only needs to be exposed 5 seconds then you can really experiment with how you develop it and how long.

I did this in art appreciation last year we did it with "nature" but it was kinda funny cause I live in the desert so all we had to work with was sticks rocks and some weeds but my piece turned out really cool. Also its cool if you do it with not perfectly flat pieces cause then you get some fun shadows :D

you can do this with photos. instead of objects to take a photo and put it on Photoshop then turn it black and white (you can mess with the levels to create super light areas and dark areas) then you invert the image and then flip the image then you print it on clear photo paper and then you place the image (ink side down) on the paper then put glass on it so it makes the image sharper then let it sit for however long (but the longer you let it sit the darker the image will be)
