Hey Everyone! On August 7th, I headed out to the Meadow Woods Sunrail Station to catch the evening rush. I got there just after 2PM, saw the two trains that came during that hour, and then stayed cool in the car until the evening rush that started after 3:30 P.M. I saw most of Sunrails 10 MP32PH-Q Locomotives and 12 Bilevel VII Cab Cars. Unfortunately, I didn't catch Amtrak as they come in the early afternoon and late morning. I didn't catch 92 as it was running late and wouldn't pass until just before 8PM.
For those wondering or who don't know, Sunrail MP32PH-Q are equipped with P5 horns & the Bilevel VII Cab cars are equipped with P3 horns (except for 2005 which has a P2). The horns are not as loud as other P5 & P3 horns as they are mounted underneath the cabs of the Locomotives & Cab cars. They are also somewhat muffled/choked/restricted. However, over the last few years, in my opinion, a good amount of the Sunrail horns are starting to sound better.
