Ten years ago I thought this was the most boring film ever, even for a silent film. And couple days ago I watched it again, moved to tears numeral times, and now it's one of most sincere and touching films to me.

In the scene where the couple stops all the traffic in the city, the man who honks his horn and shouts at them is an actor famous from another silent film -- Gibson Gowland, who plays McTeague the dentist in the famous/notorious film Greed. It would be a great project to trace the tortured history of this "lost" landmark.

You know, while it is wonderful that you have an interest in film and want to share your enthusiasm with others, it might be a good idea if you would listen to your narration first before airing it. I got as far as your first paragraph and thought, "WHAT!!" ".....a woman from the city, which lures him into having an affair with his WIFE." Can't get past that, especially since I don't know if it's possible to have an affair with one's spouse. We Industry veterans would say you need a bit more time in post production.
