Thanks for sharing wish was closer I love to meet everyone. Watch most of you guy’s Chanel’s. I definitely want a commercial splitter. Mine is to slow. That ram splitter you got seems like a nice splitter. Looks like had great time.
@benscoles50852 жыл бұрын
Hello Mr. Dan, save a few bucks and go to the show, specially if you are going to spend thousands of dollars on a splitter, it was prob the greatest concentration of spliter's per square foot anywhere in the world, easy to do comparative shopping
@FirewoodattheFurnace2 жыл бұрын
I agree with Ben. Lots of splitters there and some from companies I have never heard of. Watching them on KZbin is nice but actually standing next to one gives you a different perspective. Appreciate the support!

Hi Brad, Yes great show and I was glad to be able to meet you and talk with you. That guy with his daughter from Maine he can really talk. Alot of what he said sounds strange. If it is true, Maine is not where you would want to run a firewood company. Ron USCG RET

Yes I didn’t believe much what he was saying. The measurements were surely not correct. Maybe Maine is different lol

Hey Brad, did you see any of those firewood baggers out there? Looking at the EZ Bagger.
@FirewoodattheFurnace2 жыл бұрын
Yes they were there. It looked like a pretty simple design but I was blown away by the price. Seemed high to me. I know Back 40 told me that he was thinking about one but it was pricey for sure.
@Roadie452 жыл бұрын
@@FirewoodattheFurnace yes very simple. 500$ before shipping. I’m waiting on a quote from them. I think I’m just going to buy it. I don’t have time to design and build that. Thanks!

Thirsty Thursday
@jamessanders43102 жыл бұрын
I have watched videos of splitters using a box wedge for a long time. My opinion is that you forfeit about 20% of your production due to carnage. You pick out kindling and use it. Using the box wedge will make a large amount of kindling that you give away. I would avoid the box wedge!
@benscoles50852 жыл бұрын
fully agreed

Man if your not selling 50 thousand plus in firewood a year, 90 percent of the equipment there wouldn't be justifiable to buy. Might be fun to look at, that's it.
