The colors from the video are really nice. Your cameraman using a RED camera. Maybe do a video shooting a model but use the RED camera and then take the stills out of the video.

That's a really expensive strobe head but I don't think it's firing. You can't overpower the Sun and you're not using high speed sync. So much more could be done with this beautiful model on this gorgeous beach. The photos were just very average. On some of the photos the background was a sharp as the model.

5:15 - I feel like you should use a sunhat (or cap even) to help with the sun shinning on your face so you don't probably get a headache from the direct sunlight. It shouldn't affect your shooting compared to sunglasses. Well done Daria, the model seemed like she enjoyed shooting with you.

Actually no, it depends on the situation and lighting, but because of harsh backlight sunrise lighting I decided to do that 😊

I left SoFla for SoCal decades ago because of the HEAT you mentioned...born in the Caribbean and grew up in Ft.L. The only trouble is you CANNOT go in the water out here to shoot...too damn cold. LOVE the video, and I'm surprised you didn't use a variable ND filter on the still camera, too...for a shallower DOF. I have variable NDs for both my video cams and still cams, too...I'll stack it on my Circular Polarizer, too, when conditions permit. Manual focus for ALL shots, of course...esp if I have my Black ProMist 1/8 on it, too...to make hair glow. I shoot stills with my Canon gear because I LOVE their glass and instinctive layout for the controls on both body/lens...and menus, too. My video is shot with my Sony cams because of their INSANE continuous autofocus...for using it hands-free when floating it on the Benro 3XD Pro gimbal. Pls keep shooting/posting!
