SUNRISE HIKE to the Portlahorn peak in Bregenzerwald 🇦🇹 What to do in AUSTRIA

The early bird catches the sunrise!
We woke up at 3:30, made our way to oberdamüls and hiked to the top of the mountain to witness the sun rising over the beautiful #Bregenzerwald mountain ranges around us.
Absolutely worth the trouble of waking up early and hiking up. Such an epic spectacle to witness. 😍
What made it even better is that you can jump on a massive swing on that same mountain and start your day with a big smile on your day!
So much fun swinging towards a stunning valley. 😁
We continued our active day with a hike to the top of the #Portlahorn and oh my God, the views from up there are truly breathtaking. Definitely a tip for the top. 😉
After a hike like that it's time for a reward aka 'Einkehren' which basically means treating yourself to a beautiful meal with a refreshing drink.
We did that at the Alpengasthaus Edelweiss am Öberle which has delish food and an epic view over the valley.
