Watching your clips is like watching one of the lads play, the ups and downs the bad beat kickoffs, the relief when you win a big hand and the pure joy when you win is absolutely amazing mate. I watched Tonka win an insane amount the other day and he didn’t show half the amount of emotion you did, no disrespect to him at all but for me I like a bit of connection to how some of us average joes play and your clips definitely give that, keep up the winning ways and good luck in future games bro. Massive fan Newcastle England.

Title of this video should be “sweat on the turn”. How many sick turn cards gave pocket pairs 4 card flush possibilities but missed every time. Other option is “short stack always doubles”.

40:00 that guys just checked pre TT BB vs SB. The ICM is insaaane
@sadiqurrahman97416 жыл бұрын
just sharkscoped him. He is up like 600k! Very very good player!
@ThereAreTwoGenders5 жыл бұрын
When playing a good player sometimes you have to do tricky stuff, the fact that you were so surprised someone checks a good hand in the BB when SB calls to disguise their hand, tells me you dont play poker at a high level. Checking there can be more profitable. If you raise you risk the sb just folding pre. Also if you raise and the sb bricks the board you very well are not getting any more value out of him. But checking pre in position for post flop play, you give your opponent an opportunity to hang himself and bluff at it because he may think you dont have a strong hand and can get you to fold, when in fact you have a hand. Make sense?
@alexneagu71495 жыл бұрын
@@ThereAreTwoGenders I think isolating is the standard play here BB vs SB in a non FT environment, at pretty much any level. It is all about ICM. The guy who is in the BB doesn't want to play a big pot, even if he is IP; the risk is too hight. You don't wanna go busted.
@ThereAreTwoGenders5 жыл бұрын
@@alexneagu7149 I can agree it is somewhat pot control but I believe he is trying to be deceptive too. Lex was playing big stack bully so he may have been scared of a large 3 bet, who knows.

43:32 isn't A7o good enough to call after all that previous shoves?
@Michaatjeh6 жыл бұрын
I am not quite sure, it's a good question. I don't think it would be a good call, because Corresao should understand ICM pressure and he will not be shoving like Q10s. He has a very small range. JJ and up, maybe 10's. A7o is too weak of a hand, even a7s would be a questionable call imo. Calling it and losing it would jeopardize Lex's strategy because he would have two relative big stacks behind him. Raising almost any hand out of position can be be very dangerous with those two stacks behind him.
@alexneagu71496 жыл бұрын
@@Michaatjeh he has been shoving sooo much over Lex's open raises... I think he's shoving 77+ there against Lex's 50% open raising range there, and I think It will be a good shove. Lex is opening soooo wide and corresao can rejam wider because of that, right? And corresao isn't risking that much because only one guy is shorter than him. That's why I think he can't be too tight reaming here against the cheapleader. What are you doing here with 77, 88, 99, A5s, KQs, KJs and even other suited or not, broadways SB vs CO 14bb deep? I think that hands are easy jams ag Lex. (I'm not saying Lex should call, just trying to learn about this spot and corresao's 3bet shoving range there)
@Michaatjeh6 жыл бұрын
@@alexneagu7149 I have thought about it some more and you make some good points. I think it all depends on positioning. I still think ICM plays a big role. I do agree with you that his range could be bigger for shoving it in considering Lex's raising range. I am not sure how much risk I would be willing to take. I either double up or lose a 5 k payjump. I think his range increases versus similar stacks but he should be tighter versus Lex. But that's my opinion. I mean Corresao did call an all in with 72s risking a pay jump. I have no idea how this guy plays. I would play like an absolute nit on that FT versus Lex. I am on mobile and tired so my arguments aren't that eloquent.
@Michaatjeh6 жыл бұрын
@@alexneagu7149 I would shove 9's and above. KQs, and A5s, although the latter is kind of trick. Perhaps eights, I think it would be a gut feeling for. KJo would be a no-go for me probably. To be honest, I play microstakes and biggest win was like 1450 dollars so I have no experience with such ICM pressure.

@TheDamien4746 жыл бұрын
Yes
@jonasresas6 жыл бұрын
Once he calls he has the opportunity to bust both and most likely busting one at least. If they loose he can still put pressure on other stacks because even if they have similar stacks between them, they can't be calling due to ICM. The ICM disappears only when you're the shortest stack by far. He would not be interested only if he was 2nd or 3rd in chips, because in that way he would loose the possibility to put pressure on middlish stacks between the real shorties (10bbs) and the 20bbs stacks

Does anybody know what's the yellow marking of a player means? Coresao started red and at the final table Lex changed it to yellow.
@pseudonayme77176 жыл бұрын
He is rating players according to how he thinks they play so it's fluid. Yellow = bad\easy opponent through to Purple(I think) = good\difficult opponent.

You walked in with 35% of the chips in play! Played it decently well. But yeah... like at a $330 weekly game at my casino... it's common to see average stack being 15bb, with a 'bigstack' being 25-30bb lol. 30 min blinds, so it's not that much of a turbo. I played a random $55 buyin tourney the other week. 18 runners - 3 paid. With 4 ppl left there was a total of 30bb haha (that was 20 min blind standard pub poker shiet after busting from a larger buyin though haha).
