I have a problem with my hand shaking sometimes & I'm unable to control it. Naturally, it makes my brush do things that I didn't intend to do. Sometimes I fix it, sometimes I just go with it. I don't let it stop me from enjoying art. The thing I like most about art is that it's very forgiving. It doesn't have to be perfect. It's full of, "Happy accidents", if I may quote the great Bob Ross. Just wanted to share my story in case other people are going through anything similar. Don't let it stop you. You can still have a lot of fun. You'll find your own unique style. Anyway, thank you for sharing these videos! I never had the chance to take an art class like this. I'm thankful for KZbin & people like you. Back in the day all we had was Bob Ross & I love that show but unless you were able to record it you weren't able to pause & rewind. I also like watching different people. Everyone I've watched is amazing in their own special way. I just may pick up on a technique better if it's explained or done a little differently. Thanks i live opposite dramatic sunsets in Morecambe UK. So I think I will finally have a go at a sunset. Until today I always thought sunsets were a bit naff . But I'm going to have a go tomorrow I just need to get some spray paint and do a stencil of the hills by tearing a piece of paper and spraying the outline of the hills in the distance. But it's similar to the painting you're doing here so thanks for the inspiration. I love using glazes but I find oils are better for glazing it just takes a lot longer but I may do oil glazes over an acrylic painting. OK thanks for all your tips etc .

Alicia Segarra Yes, Cinnamon just announced her new brush line. I can't wait for them to come out... The Brush Guys will have them they say in about 3 weeks, or you can ask your local Michael's, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's or any local art store to order them, if they haven't already. If they carry Silver Brush Co., Ltd. brushes, they can get them! (They apparently make or distribute her new brush line! I've tried a lotta brushes, but always go back to my natural brushes, as they work better for me, yet some of my brushes are 40+ yrs old, so are in need of replacement, so I'm going to give her brushes a try. He's are supposed to be reasonably priced, and I know naturals like my old ones are really pricey (one of my fan brushes was about $70 around 1995 or so, so I'm hoping to find some that are a little less expensive!) From seeing her paint with her's, I think they might be comparable... I'm going to try them! :) The sales should pay her back a bit too, so I'm hopeful... I've tried SO many synthetics & they are OK, some have been junky, but the ones I've tried still don't paint like my natural I love so much. Anyhow, If they're as good as they look on her show, I might totally switch??? We'll see! I'm excited for her! It takes a lotta work to get a brush line of your own, then launch them! There's a LOT involved! I'm sure she'll let us know when the online stores have them, and maybe big box stores too. (I think Walmart might carry them too? I'm going to ask!)

Hello Sherpa, i'm still a beginner in acrylic painting and i have dabbed in modern acrylic painting, landscape acrylic painting as well as fluid abstract acrylic painting, what i was curious about is if you can do a painting using stencils with the same kind of paint, specifically stencils like hearts but not filled in rather like outlined hearts on a colorful background. Also i'd like to create a glossy look ontop of after acrylics have dried for a few days what would you recommend? I've been following your how to and tutorial videos and love what you bring to the table for us beginners.

Yes this paint lends itself to stencils Beautifully . For a Gloss thin effect Varnish or Gloss medium and for a thick effect I like pouring medium spread out and allowed to dry
