Sunset listen through of Phil Wickham's album Hymn Of Heaven (Acoustic Sessions).
There’s a cliff near our home that overlooks the ocean. It’s become my family's “sunset spot”. We’ll pile into the van and head there to watch the sun come down over the Pacific, usually with some In N Out or ice cream in hand. It’s always a beautiful time together. I recorded Hymn Of Heaven (Acoustic Sessions) with that exact scene in mind. I actually have a photo of my kids at our “sunset spot” and throughout the project, I kept coming back to that photo. I wanted to make a version of Hymn Of Heaven that would be a soundtrack to those kinds of moments.

I just wanted to tell you how God has used your music to bless me. In April 2010 my pregnancy was not going well. As I rushed to the hospital early in the morning, obviously scared, your song Safe came on the radio. I had never heard the song. The words of the chorus stuck in my head. I was in the hospital for a few weeks and then had to go home while my son was still in the NICU. That whole time, when it was quiet, that song stayed in my mind, a constant reminder that God was protecting me and my son. This month my son will be 12. Praise God!!! My mom died when I was 30. Cancer throughout her body. She got baptized a cpl months before she died. God is good. Her life was so hard. I had just left the hospital and she was unconscious. I got home and a feeling swept through me .The phone rang. It was my step dad telling me she passed. I felt her spirit tell me "I'm OK Laurie. It is beautiful here" Our life may not be good, but God is always GOOD.

I was in an abusive relationship for 7 years and God pulled me out of it. I am free from alcohol 27 months, free from cigarettes 10 months and marijuana 2 months and I do not take anymore more Valium for anxiety. His loss has been devastating and the anguish we have went through and been unbearable. Phil whickhams music is a blessing from God. Through his music the Lord has helped me so much. I’m 19 years old, grew up in the church, knew about God, was even baptized at 13. But I rejected it all completely by the way I lived, and there the Lord came running inspite of it all, there he hung on the cross to save me and he rose again. The King of King, Lord of Lord, God in the flesh he died for me. He saved me. If he can with me you can with you. If you would just turn to him and trust him completely, forget all these worldly things and get in your Bible and prayer have a relationship with him devote your life to him and do it because he has loved you all the way to cross and died for you. Come on! Turn to him!! Is his arm too short that it cannot save!? I reckon the Lord can and will saved the “worst of the worst” you are never ever too far gone for him to reach he is God. And he loves you and will forgive you please just come to him and turn to him. I beg you, there is only love in the heart of God!

I am from Liberia ( a small country in west Africa). i grown up never seeing my both parents. things were very hid specially during the 14years civil war in my country. I had to become a child soldier just to survive. I did all kinds of things to get through each day. I never felt good enough for anything because I never saw my parents. i tried killing my self so many times, but God always saved me. I was a broken and lost soul until I gave my life to Jesus, and He saved me! I never had a family growing up but today, I have a beautiful wife that loves me very much! and we have an Orphanage 69 children living with HIV that we take care of and they are our family. The Holy Spirit woke me up this morning at 4 am, and I finally was able to ask Him what do I need to pray for, whom should I pray for and He told me that He woke me up so I would not die today in my sleep, He said "pray for yourself to stay alive". Every day I try to thank God for this playlist/session. Believe or not, it is one of the reason I slowly came back to the Lord. I came across this during such a tumultuous time in my life, where everything felt uncertain and confusing. I thank God that it came to me like a simple find that was in reality a blessing and to this day the words of these songs resonate so much with me, because even during times of depression and doubt, I sang at the top of my lungs "THERE'S JOY IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD"!!! It also reminded me of something I needed to remenber so badly, why I took up my cross and followed Jesus. Something, believe it or not, most believers tend to forget in the battle; "For the cross that you bore and the debt that you paid, for the victory you won over death and the grave...This is the reason I sing." Thank God for these lyrics, the voice behind the lyrics, the person behind that voice and for the Holy Spirit for inspiring such wonderful melodies.

God touched and healed me in a special way when I was 16. I had depression and my life seemed to be going nowhere. That was 27 years ago. Needless to say, I have never gotten over His peace and the love that he filled me with. There is a fire burning in my heart for Him. I've been struggling with my relationship with God lately because of how he just allowed me to live with an abuse father and now I'm plummeting into toxic relationships and struggling with my sexuality. Just surrender everything to Abba Father and plead the Blood of Jesus Christ over you and your family every day and ask Jesus to put on your full Armor of God. He will help you, because He is with you and standing next to you and us in you. We must always honor and respect our parents even if the are wrong . Just remember we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against principalities and dark forces. Read the Bible, pray and praise God always. Most important develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, as that is our purpose in this life and on earth. Put praise and worship music on in your room every day and invite the Holy Spirit in your home. Always forgive people and repent for your sins and thoughts, lever give the enemy legal ground to attack you 15:09 . Never be the victim but let Jesus lift you up as He paid for you and is your Father always and love you so very much and total unconditionally. We all have mistakes and sometimes we must ask God to make our eyes open too see what is actually behind this. Just remember we do not do things for ourself but for Jesus and He said.. you can do all things through Christ, who strengthen you and He has very good plans for you Jerimia 29.11. If you need help, Google Bible versus of God's Promises and learn them and remind Him of His promises always. Lot up everything in Jesus name you do not want and lock open everything you want in Jesus Name. Decrea and Declare what you want in your life and toe it to Bible versus as the Word is sharper than a 2 edged sword and what you speak you will receive. Your thoughts, become your words, so be careful what you think and ask the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and go to be Baptised and join a 5 Fold mistry in your area.

Thank you Father God for healing my husband, and keeping him alive to finish his race strong. Also Father God, thank you that my precious grandson did not have to have major surgery to remove a calcified lymph node. Thank you for the doctors who were involved in both of these cases. Thank you, Father, for the stripes that Jesus bore for their healing. Amen!

I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where KZbin started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

I have been praying for God to help me get another job, but since I am still here, I know His grace is sufficient for me. And so, this wonderful worship music carries me through the tough days. Many years ago I was an LPN at a hospital. The charge Nurse went out fo her way to torment, abuse me, mock me and humiliate me-usually very openly in front of ppl. I was a very good nure-top of my class-very compassionate (and young and cute). This nurse was burnt out and She hated me for my enthusiasm I think. I was a single mom to 4 little boys I would have to leave them alone at night to go to work and just cover them with prayer that they would be safe. God instructed me to pray for this mean nurse and I did every night on the long drive to work. One night I got to work and she had worked the previous shift. As I listened to her taped report, I found out she almost killed a patient by giving him the wrong medicines. She never said another word to me or even looked in my direction. God is good.
