My first Tobi Kadachi hunt was a sunset samurai showdown.... with a hammer!

Absolutely fantastic as ever sir! That hammer looks sooo tricky to handle, seems to be very unforgiving on timing. First thing I do when I get in my car? Always, ALWAYS, music. I cannot and will not drive anywhere without my tunes 😂 That food looked delish and well earned after an epic adventure. Cheers dude 🙏🏻

Yeah it's super slow if you don't time it right, but super satisfying if you do. And haha, that's awesome. You and the horror movie villain will just head bang together. I can see it now.... I'm glad you're enjoying this adventure! 😁

Personally, I found that going for the Girros' tail first helps. Once the tail is broken, lock on to it's head.

Yeah, I was flabbergasted and I think just super tired because even the Girros urgent I fought in the last episode wasn't that hard and this time I was getting RUINED haha. It's all part of the journey. But thanks for the tips! I'll try going for tail first next time to see how it feels.

Thank you! I had a ton of fun with it! The hardest part is that I can't see the AR when I record it so I have to shoot it like 10-20 times 😂😭 But then the fight itself had a bunch of ups and downs too. I am really happy with it. I just want to make fun content I can look back on and be proud of :)

Just a tip in case you, or anyone else who might see this doesn't know, you can click on a monster and then walk somewhere safer to fight it. As long as it's still on the screen that has the monster just doin it's own thing with the 'Hunt' option, you can hunt it anywhere so for example you could go to a parking lot, park, walk over, click on a monster once it's in range, walk back and get in the car, and THEN initiate the hunt. I did this earlier today with an Anjanath that was like a good 3 minutes away from home and I just had it on my phone screen the entire walk back and fought it inside since over here it's still a bit too hot and buggy to stand outside in a woodland path lol Just be aware every now and then if your palico still has paintballs, sometimes they'll paintball the monster so then it'll the say the monster is no longer available and instead it'll be in the paintball list It happened to me when I was about to hunt a Jyratodus and then my palico decided to paintball it lol

i blame the girros toxic gas as what killed all sun flowers xD and yes them 3 stars definitely hit different. i dont know if ill make it to fight the pink rathilos. i barley hit ch7 and those 4 stars are way tough.

@@HuntersNotez guess they can just choose not to see these replies then. 1.) Lock on is pretty much a must for hammers 2.) Charging is not necessary unlike greatsword so it's mainly for opening, stunned monsters,chasing(the only weapon who can do this). 3.) Charging behind a monster and releasing as it turns around to face you is majestic (watch out for tails sometimes) 4.) Again, lock on benefits to hammer the most for head-locking for stunning giving u more dps window BUT! forcing it is not different to being greedy(it's bad) better change ur approach towards some monsters (there are other weapons after all) 5.) Bonk the hell out of monsters and have fun (pretty important, no point in being stubborn towards a weapon if ur not having fun with it)......... Coming from my experience using Greatsword 😅

5.) U can slide cancel from charging by sliding right/left. 6.) Raw ATK>Elements so easy to make a set (recommended is carapace or Girros with its paralysis)

So currently I'm about to hit HR 40, but this episode is from September 19th, as it says in the log book at the beginning haha. Editing takes a while, and I have a full time job and I'm a dad so episodes are definitely delayed haha. Maybe the pink Rathian event can get you some suped up weapons to break through the wall :)

Did you consider playing Bow? Its the safest weapon, as you can dodge while charging up without loosing the charge.

I think it was a personal issue haha I think I was just really hungry and tired. I'm much better now since this was my first day with hammer, but I am actually going to try bow soon just for fun :)

I wish they'd add a feature where you can craft paintballs and it takes X amount of distance to craft the item kinda like hatching in Pokemon go. I cant play this game as much because of the speed cap but I'm hr 40+ without doing much of the story and just the dailies (on my way to uni and back)

I fully agree with you. I think pokemon go encouraged you to walk more for sure. Crafting is necessary, just make us grind for it.

@@HuntersNotez I would love to be able to craft paintballs since the palico paintballs always get the 1-3star or even have some kinda special tool that you craft (and walk to unlock) that's basically bait and attracts specific monsters. Like I have to hunt 2 legiana but since I take the train I'm moving too fast or I dont have internet lol

Life cycle. They die after a certain number of days of life naturally. They also probably stopped getting watered so the sun burned them out.
