This song will always be special to me because freshman year I went to a new high school and joined the cheer team the first day of school was about to start and I was so nervous because I hadn’t met anybody yet. At a cheer practice a girl came up to me with such a beautiful smile and she introduced herself. We talked about our common interests and how we like the beach and that maybe we would go together after school sometime. She made me feel so welcomed and included, such a selfless soul, which was really what I needed at the time. we started hanging out and going everywhere together. It got to the point we were inseparable. On one of our many adventures she introduced me to this song because it sounded like a beach sunset (our favorite). Whenever we were together this song would always be on the top of our list for first to play it was almost like a routine. All the different memories and adventures to this song are pure bliss. The best time of my life. About a year later we got into a horrible fight just a week before she was in a fatal car crash. I would do anything to hug her one last time and say i’m sorry for the petty drama it meant nothing. The way it ended was horrible and having to feel that pain everyday of guilt regret and grief is even worse. So please tell your loved ones you love them hug them close and never go to sleep in a fight with someone. Drive safe someone loves you ❤️

I dreamed of it so much since according to the doctors I couldn't drive, drink coffee or smoke like normal people. After 1 year and a half I recovered, got my license and drove an Audi 1.9 in the countryside, alone with a cigarette after coffee and "Apocalypse" in the car. It was the best and bravest day of my life because I was finally doing something my neurologist didn't believe in. I had no one with me and I finally felt FREE. It's been 4 years, I'm healed and I no longer take any drugs. I am another person and I owe everything to you. You saved me and I love you from the bottom of my heart. Since 2019 I have no longer had any problems and I have resumed being an artist in Italy. I owe everything to you. It's like the whole universe aligned with the stars.. no fear and no pain. Only dreams come true.

i know nobody will probably see this, and maybe when im older i may come back and see this comment i made, but for the past 8-ish months ive been listens to CAS and i think im in love. ive never been huge in my music type, cause i never really was open to music. but recently ive been a big music person. so, ive been trying new songs and this song, including cry, apocalyse and k. have been a nonstop replay for me. their songs are just so... good. calming, gentle to the ear, nice melody, and beautiful music cover. CAS's songs are mostly about love. this song is kinda like wherever you go you still see that one person your in love with. no matter where or when you still see them. i could go on and talk about the other songs i love but i just wanted to say that this band, these songs, is whats keeping me happy, calm and sometimes focused (for homework especially cause classical music makes me wanna fall asleep)

this song reminds me of him. from the day we started talking, to the day he left me. “on the swingset at the old playground.” memories of us swinging in sync with each other, laughing when he almost fell off because he was only focused on watching me swing. whenever we were together he would be obsessed with just looking at me. we climbed up that hill to watch the sun set that night, he kept turning around to make sure i hadn’t fallen behind since he insisted on taking the steeper route. helping me crawl through the small hole in the fence. finally sitting down on the wet grass from the past snowfall melting. moving closer to me just to have your gaze focused on the colours the sky had painted that night. not noticing the fact that we were the only two up there at that time. typically it was a busy spot, especially at that time. i was resisting the urge to kiss you and after we left you told me you were too. i wish one of us would’ve initiated that. maybe then you wouldn’t have abandoned me so suddenly like that. maybe if we had more significant memories together, you would have stayed. a small possibility, but if i could go back in time and change one thing, i would have kissed you at the top of that hill that night. another lyric that reminds me of you, “when you go away, i still see you.” seeing you in public. you walking past me as if we didn’t have all of those memories together. after that, i had the biggest lump in my throat. if it weren’t for the fact that i was walking with my friends, i think i would redirected myself to the bathroom just to cry. not caring if anyone in there heard my whimpers below my breath. their opinions on me could never matter as much as yours. sometimes, you’d even go as far as quite literally turning in the opposite direction. all that just to not see me. if you could hear my thoughts, you’d know how much that hurt me to watch. it was like a stab in the chest to witness someone, especially you, doing all that to not have to look at me. no matter how much that hurt me, you and i both know that i would go back to you and what we had in a heartbeat. you, however, don’t feel the same way. not anymore, at least. the day you told me we’d be better off as friends and nothing more, i didn’t sleep for three days after that. i thought you’d change your mind. i thought that it was just a cruel joke. my naivety was so innocent back then. you ruined me. you ruined all of our memories together. all the times we were together giggling because we both looked into each others eyes for too long, laughing at that stupid bunny hat and how dumb it looked on both of us. it’s all gone. if i had known all this the first time we spoke, i’m not sure if i would have continued to talk to you. during that time, we were both taught some important relationship skills. i was taught to trust, taught to love again after what happened with my ex. it changed me, as a person, and it changed how i perceive the world around me. how i view others had changed as well. i went from looking for opportunities to befriend strangers just because i liked their outfit, hair, or just thought they were attractive. to now, viewing everyone as people who know what happened. people who know how i really am. knowing that all of them only view me as someone unimportant to them. you made me this way. i forgive you. always have, always will. miss you julien, will for a while.

This song reminds me of a place I once worked. It would play on my Spotify playlist every morning on my commute to work. At first I didn’t like the song, it wasn’t something I was used to. I liked classic rock, metal, etc. After a while I would just ignore the song. I left that job for another, it was a huge mistake and I mourn the loss of that job everyday. This song makes me feel like I’m back on that road again, commuting back to my friends and the place I loved. I know this song was made about relationships ending but for me the loss of a place you loved being in surrounded by people that made you happy is just as painful as losing a loved one.
