Not quite…. But it is up there as pretty much perfect for the time. If she’d written it with 100% real instruments from the get go… I’d give 20/10. The melody and lyrics are timeless. The production isn’t unfortunately imo.

I guess some people don't see the raw, exposed ,emotional beauty in a song like this because they have the emotional depth of a muddy puddle, which makes me sad for civilization... Some people don't identify with real empathic emotions, can't communicate them, dismiss them. They just don't relate. It's human behaviour and the world at large...unfortunately. I do get a bit deep. This literally makes me cry instantly..and I'm not ashamed of it.. Just perfection. Kate Bush is an incredible woman that effortlessly displays real beauty and delicate emotion both inside and out...❤

@fairy.4313 Sang it, wrote it, produced it, did her own backing vocals, played piano, then starred in and directed her own video. Plus, she's a trained dancer who does much of her own choreography.

I was surprised to read that it only peaked at #25 in the charts at the time but then I remembered it's Kate Bush & everyone already had the album because when Kate releases an album you don't wait, you rush out to get it straight away because you know it will be exceptional.

This song has definitely stood the test of time. Hadn’t heard it before the movie “a man called Otto.” Sometimes when there’s a song so beautiful I check the X factor auditions to see if anyone can compare, no one did. what a beautiful song this has something from the man with the Child in his eyes. verry beautiful. art everything she did. now i have no idea. only that i know she is married with children. and because of stranger things running up that hill. people listen to her music again. i dont no if she likes the attention again but she will get money for it. i dont think she did everything for money. i hope not. i dont think so. she deserves credit for everything she does did. i wish her well.

Joshua Bicknell A common practice on some TV shows. Even Pink Floyd were forced to do it when Syd Barrett was in the band. He stood there looking like a stunned mullet in protest. They had to train the camera on Roger Waters and get him to lip sync it instead.
