Thanks. I love starting there in the morning. The crowds always go to the village so those in the know get the corduroy all to themselves. Way to treat yourself on your 40th birthday. And every year visiting Banff. Thanks for watching and sharing your excitement.

I can’t ski but I take photos…how beautiful! I wish I could get up that high to get pics without having to ski down! I’ll be there in 28 days!!

You can get up that high! There's the Banff Gondola and there's also the gondola at Lake Louise that will take people up even if they don't ski. You would just ride it back down. Sunshine Village, where this video was shot, also has a gondola that you can ride. Thanks for watching and have a great time when you go to the Canadian Rockies. You'll love it.

@ I was there over night two years and fell in love with it! I’m celebrating surviving a Covid coma four years ago! I’m taking the gondola up Sulphur on NYE for dinner! I am not sure I can ride a ski lift up or down! I’d need someone hold my hand!! 🫨

I love these wide open runs

They’re awesome. Especially first thing in the morning before the crowds come down from the Village.

Back to some basics on your technique. Work on some type of pole plant and use it to lift your inside foot on transitions. 80/20 needs to be your weight distribution with 80% of your weight being on your outside ski. Practice with a heel lift and stomp of your inside ski following the completion of your turn.

The basics are the foundation of everything. Can't get away from them. Pole plant for timing and weight distribution for balance and edging. Thank you!
