To be fair though you can still get some good 5* characters as F2P, I’ve never bought wishes and I’ve been able to get Neuvillette, Raiden Shogun, Nahida, Kazuha, Arlecchino, Dehya, Qiqi, Keqing, Jean, and Mona and I just started playing about a year and a half ago

I've found that as long as I've master dodging his attacks, using Barbara to dodge actually works better than Kaeya, since her Thrilling Tales of Dragons will give Amber a much needed boost when you switch characters to attack. And if you do mess up and get hit (the electro attacks got me a LOT) you can use Barbara's skill before switching back to Amber for constant healing while you constantly take damage.

For us who still dont reach AR45 must watch this. If u want to clear it fast. Then u need the artifact *5. Its so painfull to beating this guy without a chara with shield. And absolutely playing solo. But this gameplay make us need to be patient.cause if u playing close combat style then u gonna be ended fast by this dude. Soo use bow user. If u have fischl then shes very recomended. But if u dont her just use amber. Thx for the video man Very helpfull 👍

Thank you for this guide. I memorize this by heart but I really need a lot of practice with dodging especially during element absorption. I just beat him at Level 60 with Amber, Kaeya, Xiangling, and Barbara. I usually fight him with my claymore and shield babies but I wanted to get the no-shield achievement. Amber is a great unit to have around, for sure, but I don't think she's necessarily important for all content. You will see that my friend Toufusoup and I will use her for these guides quite often because she is F2P, guaranteed, and also a strong unit. This doesn't mean that you should feel pressured into building her if you don't think you'd enjoy playing her. The purposes of using her in these videos is to showcase the ability to beat all of the bosses using only the F2P units and de-incentivising people from feeling the need to pull rare units to beat certain encounters. That being said, Amber is a very strong unit who has a strangely large campaign against her for seemingly no reason. She is wrongly mischaracterized as a weaker unit, when she is actually rather powerful and requires no more investment than others. She is flexible in the ways you can build her, and her worth almost doubles when she reaches C1. Here are some options for building her: Physical Amber Physical Amber focuses on having decent execution and rewards you for learning how to consistently Aimed Shot cancel. Because her C1 allows her to shoot a second arrow while aiming, we can exploit this using Aimed Shot canceling and get some incredibly strong DPS. Focus on building her with raw Phys%, with artifacts such as Pale Flame and Bloodstained Chivalry. Your Cup will be the largest source of Phys% here. Then, you can focus on building Crit Damage and then Crit Rate. Because Amber is a Bow unit, and because Phys Amber focuses on exploiting uncharged Aimed Shots, she has the ability to target enemy weakspots, netting her consistent critical hits for any enemy with a weakspot available (note that some bosses and enemies either do not have a weakspot, or their weakspots are only vulnerable for a short window). Pyro Amber Pyro Amber focuses on her Charged Shot, rather than her Aimed Shot. Amber has one of the fastest time-to-charge in the game, making her ability to fire a fully charged shot considerably faster than other Bow units. This is coupled with her innately high Elemental weight on the Charged Shots which allows her to shred certain elemental shields better than other Pyro units in certain situations. Scaramouche's weekly fight is an example of this, where in his second phase, Amber is the only Bow unit in the game as of 3.6 that can one-shot the drones required to dodge the wipe-mechanic. Additionally, Pyro Amber's investment into raw Pyro% allows us to take full advantage of the rest of her kit, including Baron Bunny's explosion damage and her Ulti. Amber scales well with Constellations, and at C2 Amber gains the ability to manually detonate Baron Bunny for 200% more damage. This damage is incredibly substantial, and is the focus for some player's builds. Her Ulti is a reliable AoE damaging off-field effect that also grants a unique ATK buff of 15% when she is at C6. When building Pyro Amber, you can choose to focus on raw Pyro% for consistency, or choose to build into EM for interesting interactions. Understand that Dendro's Burgeon effect with a manual Baron Bunny detonation is consistently able to deal incredibly large amounts of damage, coupled with strong EM investment. You can choose sets like Gilded Dreams and Flower of Paradise Lost for an incredibly flexible Pyro Amber build.

Yup. I would consider him to be the safest pick here, but Amber has some more advanced tech that allows her to do even more damage (physical Amber with c1). I don't show it in the video because that kind of tech is not very accessible to all players of varying skill levels.

Tartaglia is "safe" because of his height. Amber is "optimal" because of her tech. Units being accessible has nothing to do with what we're talking about. AARC being accessible is entirely different because you literally cannot do it on mobile. These are two completely different things. Additionally, you're wrong. Fischl does not triger C1 on Aimed Shot, meaning she is just as viable as a C0 Amber or literally any other Archer unit for that matter with the added hurdle of the fact that she is not guaranteed (barring events). So not only does she do the same damage as C0 Amber in this case, but also she is LESS accessible. You're incorrect on both fronts.

I have 2 teams so far that work well (lvl 75 vs lvl 80 Azhdaha) : - healer Jean + Xingqiu + Yanfei + Noelle - Diona + Xingqiu + Kaeya + Noelle. Use the first one if you’re just beginning. Barbara can replace Jean. These teams have so much shielding and healing that you barely need to dodge his elemental attacks.

That's a latency issue on your end. I showcased what makes electro different and that's all that was needed. All of his moves are dodgeable given correct pre-positioning. If you're getting hit from things that are clearly not in the indicator, you're likely having latency issues, which isn't something any guide can help you with. You're either going to need a better connection, or learn to deal with it. The game functions perfectly fine with a proper connection

Does he have resistance to Dendro? I have Tigh that I use a lot, and his Wreath arrows can do decent damage, with multiple hits regularly...if Azhdaha can't resist them it should finish it quicker

He has 10% resistance to all elements which rises with whatever elements he channels that week. I don't believe he channels Dendro at all given that it was introduced well after his release, so it should be the most consistent damage type to use against him as he can't channel it. Aside from Anemo as he cannot channel Anemo was well, Dendro should be equally as effective

@@SunWeiC awesome, I've only just gotten to that part of the Zhongli quest, and thought I'd hold off to find the best team. I'm thinking Tigh, Noelle, and a couple of pyros for the resonance boost to ATK. I'd like to have a reliable heal as well, but I'll just try to not get hit instead. Update: Well, Dendro does work quite well, it's just easy damage he can't really do anything about, although the first time you meet Azhdada is the only time he'll ever be double Geo. Having Noelle's shield allows you to get closer for easier Dendro bombing.

The "normal" and "traditional" DPS build for most units generally refers to building them around the element that they actually have. In this case, Amber is Pyro, and actually performs rather decently as a Pyro DPS with enough constellations in her due to being able to manually Detonate Baron Bunny for essentially double damage. This means that building crit/crit damage with elemental damage% is actually quite good, since Amber can reliably land upwards of 30k-40k damage per Baron Bunny without any additional supports and thus much higher damage with proper supports (like with Vaporize). That being said, this guide was made years before Dendro was a playable element in the game, and now Amber is also viable in a team based around the Burgeon elemental reaction, allowing her to land upwards of 40-50k per Dendro Corebloom. This just involves bringing a Dendro and Hydro unit to create bloomed Dendro Cores to work with, and slamming as much Elemental Mastery (EM) on Amber as physically possible (and making sure she's the highest possible level). Because of the way that EM scales with Burgeon along with the 4 piece set effect of Flower of Paradise Lost, Amber is quite a reliable damage dealer at relatively low investment, only needing to stack around 950 EM with Cloudforged as her weapon (which is easier than it looks when you have all Clock, Cup, and Crown as main stat EM). As for physical, Amber is viable as a physical DPS unit because of the fact that she is an Archer, meaning she can attack while moving and just spamming normal uncharged aimed shots. The reason why this is viable is because there is a decent amount of support for augmenting physical damage, so we take advantage of it in this fight because it is the only damage type that Azhdaha is not particularly strong against (and is the most consistent one that he has. The other elements he will have resistance against rotates on a weekly basis).
