Sunwing Sunday Festival (ft. Bahamasair & Western Air) | December 1, 2024 | Bahamas Planespotting

This was a rather interesting time of year for Freeport spotters like me. This was my first time witnessing 3 Sunwing 737 MAXs on the ground at Freeport, especially because one of them is a rare returning livery from August 10th 2024. The reason for them being here was because of Jet Fuel Shortage in Cuba and planes need fuel to get from point A to point B, near or far, which led them to divert here. Also, I was trying to get this video out for a while since it was discontinued.

Nice video, Correction with your video though… Sunwing had up to at least 7 of their aircrafts in Freeport all at once but this was back in 2015-18 They used to fly to the United States from Freeport aswell as other Canadian destinations all in one day around the same time That was the golden era of planespotting in Freeport!
