김선욱 브람스 인터메조 들으면 예쁘고 젊고 사랑스러웠던.. 그래서 찬란해야 할... 그러나 서글픔으로 가득 찼던 내 그 시절이 떠올라서 자꾸 눈물이 난다. 음질이 안좋은거까지 음악으로 들리는 연주. 정말 감사합니다...

구린 음질을 뚫고나오는 해석...근데 진짜 들은 버전중 젤 슬픈 느낌이난다...ㅜㅜ뭔가 깊어..

이렇게 가슴이 먹먹할 수가 있나요.. 단순히 잘한다 좋다라는 말로는 설명이 안 되네요. 정말 음악으로 아픔을 어루만진다는 표현이 맞을 것 같습니다. 김선욱 연주자님 연주하시다가 북받치는 감정에 눈물이 보이네요. 감동적인 연주, 고맙습니다.

벅차서 말이 안나오네요~~ 심장이 너무 아파서 저려요.. 볼 때 마다 눈물나는 유일한 영상.. 3분39초 눈물에 저는 펑펑 울었어요..연주 시작부터 끝까지 단 1초도 움직일 수가 없네요~~ 역시 브람스! 역시 김선욱! 영상 감사합니다...

Seeing that a lot of the posted comments are in Korean, I feel that Sunwook Kim deserves to be recognised as an international musician of the highest calibre. This is late Brahms and a masterpiece among masterpieces. The music is outwardly beautiful but is actually a long sigh. It looks back at the beautiful past and what could have been, with acceptance and no bitterness. His platform manners could not be more restrained, and a huge contrast to Lang Lang, but the music went through a gamut of emotions. Another commentator thought that he made the music speak; he did more than that, he conveyed feelings that cannot be expressed in words. Kim is too young to be immortal, but should certainly be in the Hall of Fame of great pianists.

One of my top 5 favorite solo piano works. I am minded of the progress of a leaf blown about in the forest through darkness only to come at last to the clear air and finally to rest in peace on the earth. The way all living things will end. His version here is magnificent and lyrical.

Amazingly expressive and beautiful!!! I saw Sunwook at the Poole Lighthouse and he made a very lasting impression on me. I found his concert very moving. Its as if the composer speaks directly though him through the music. What a special artist he is.

Absolutely stunning. The perfect blend of beautiful expression and technical perfection. I am not a professional musician but I have started working on this piece as it has been one of my favorites since I studied it in my college form and analysis class. I hope I can play it as beautifully as this when all is said and done. Bravo!

Right. This it. Look no further. This is the definite version. Tempo, dynamics, melody line, accents, pauses, poetry...: it is all there. The perfect interpretation of this, arguably, most beautiful solo piece for the piano. 'Aimez-vous Brahms? '

@@yveslabbe3254 There is a difference in authenticity. Sunwook Kim is totally immersed in Brahms. Jussen seems more immersed in himself.

@@hdholl9696 , In fact Sunwook Kim is an absolute good pianist, I will pay more attention from now on but I still prefer the way Arthur Jussen plays this intermezzo. I also saw the brothers in 2018 and they were absolutely close and generous to the public.

One of the best performances of this lovely piece: perfectly linear, without exaggerate romance. The "forte" and the "piano" exactly in the right place where they are. Brahms is difficult to execute, it's easy to lapse into rethoric, but here the sweetness and precision are perfectly mixed. Bravo 👏👏

My gosh, beautiful! This is the perfect balance of movement and weight, lyricism and voicing, that Brahms needs. I'm rarely satisfied with most interpretations. Bravo.

Beautiful, reminding me very much of Radu Lupu's way with this work: staying pretty much in tempo. This intensely felt music seems to work best with only very subtle rubato...too much and it can shatter the mood rather than enhancing it.
