interesting. You would think today in age the core of the boards would be molded by a machine instead of hand carved. Surprised the whole thing is not automated. I'm deciding between the ATX Adventure XL vs Yolo Fisher. I weigh 250lb and I'm looking for wide, stable board for use in salt mangroves. Short trips in shallow water and I will occasionally have a 120lb passenger. Stability and Durability at top of my needs list, but not sure I want a Plastic board either. I was on the Yolo Fisher last summer and was amazed at how incredible stable and easy to use it was. Can anybody compare both boards?

+cyberpine Check out Bote boards. They have a 12'-0" board that can easily support yourself, a yeti cooler, and a dog. Look at their Flood and Flood HD models.

no cnc machining, no vacuum bagging, no bilateral composits used for strengthening, use of a single layer core and you dont even know a stringer from a rocker... a very basic board using 60's fabrication technology
