I still remember to this day 5-year-old me standing in front in this machine in total awe. Back then, all I could watch was the attract screen, and that was enough to blow me away. Thanks very much for showing 46-year-old me today how it was *supposed* to work :)

Absolutely EPIC classic game. This is the game that started the whole platform genre and it is WICKED hard too. This is the best I've ever seen anyone play Space Panic. Great job my friend!
I don't want to brag, but when I played this game in 1982, my record was 72,000 points.

Well, if someone likes to know. If you manage to survive level 16 (I played this game around 1000 times I think and it happened to me only twice...;) then you will be surprised that in level 17 the monsters are as slow as in level 7 again, 18 ~ 8, 19~ 9, 20 ~10, 21 ~ 11 and 22 ~ 12. In level 23 you will be shocked by a Don which flies from one side to the other in just about 1 second. Once he finds a path to you, you are dead. Never saw level 24.

There are several different versions of this game. I've previously exceeded level 16 in this version but was instantly killed by a raging Don at a tremendous speed.

@@DangorouNishida Your pal on Twitter was using an easy/modified ROM by the way. Super slow oxygen drain and slow enemies in the later boards. Do you have that ROM he uses? I'd like to try it out.

I would love to see a level 23 Don.

@@DangorouNishida You can do with your friends ROM. Will any of you post the ROM version, or explain how to slow down the oxygen, or will they continue to keep ignoring my request..?

@@mr2nut123 I'd like to achieve it in a canonical way, without using special ROMs or using methods to slow down oxygen.
Years ago I know I scored over 42 thousand on the 1st man. I don't remember my final score. Me and another guy would have a friendly competition. One evening me and my brother went over to the grocery store where the game was and he spoke up and said ,"42 thousand beat that!." I did and then some. Fun times. I had it for Colecovision too.
I have that machine original & with checky mouse from universal in the early 90 mean i got in level 23 and get maybe 60-70000 but never mind u played like a prof master play...
