SUP Surf - Small Shorebreak Waves

small waves on a fast shorebreak sandbar. of course, the best waves were before and after I paddled out, but a fun short session overall. It has been EXTREMELY crowded lately, so opted for the off spot, just to surf alone and in peace. Swell should keep coming in, hopefully get back on the film train. Thank you everyone for watching!

At 4:27 looks like kind of situation that gets a board to the face. I’ve been watching your videos and learning in shore break spots a bit and get hit in the head…a lot. I wear a Gath now and still find it way more dangerous than prone surfing with the weight and size of the board and much larger fins. Any wipeout tips? Thanks for the videos, I enjoy watching them!
