As someone who got into 40k two years ago can someone tell me if these campaign books or codexes are worth buying for lore reading only? I heard that back in the day the codexes would be filled with lore and not so much anymore. I would love to read more about Endryd and Tybalt that's why I ask thank you.

If you are into the lore of Horus Heresy and 40K and dont have the time to or enjoy reading lots of novels then the campaign books are an excellent abridged version.

This book is particularly good imo. Far better than the content of 40k 10th edition

@@Sup3rSaiy3n I do buy a lot of novels both audio and physical and I do finish them besides one novel. I like to collect things you see, like I got some old Imperial Guard and Cities of Death codex. I like the art, quotes and overall the little bits of lore they drop in these codexes. Of course the Heresy 2.0 Rulebooks will never be as detailed and deep into lore as the 1.0 Black Books but I do wonder if its worth getting as someone who reads the novels but doesn't play the games. I know its a bit confusing with what I tell, I live in Turkey and we don't have a place that sells warhammer books besides some sites that sells rare books, so seeing Battle for Beta Gamon and have content about Blackshields (my favorite faction from entire warhammer setting) intrigued me that's all.

I'm glad that Horus Heresy didn't follow 3 years lifetime per edition. otherwise we won't get such a campaign book Edit : correction on 40K and AoS campaign, they have such campaigns book but with such short time they can't explore more about that
