I feel like programmers will only become more import in building out the complete app as more and more small businesses get off the ground and find funding with prototypes they make in apps like Bolt. There is just so much you still need to know about security and database that creative people like me need help with.

Ive created multiple projects on bolt and didnt know you could add env lmao. Great video. Bolt + Cursor + Copy Pasting docs + debugging = major productivity. Ive also spent hours on minor bugs that i couldve just fixed myself way faster. These tools are fun. Didnt know that bolt was open source.. So i could just clone in and sub my api key and "avoid" the subscriptoon cost of bolt?

Great question. At the moment, bolt.new can write edge functions, but you would have to download the code locally and deploy it using the Supabase CLI. The bolt team has a Supabase integration cooking, so let's see if that solves it!

v0 has advantages when it comes to creating Next.js + shadcn apps, but overall I like bolt.new better, because it gives me access to all my files. As an engineer, that is more reassuring.

I use it all the time to create an app from scratch. Anyone who codes can greatly improve their shipping velocity with it. Also those folks who were always interested in creating apps, but didn't have the time to learn how to code seem to be into it too. I have seem amazing projects from those who doesn't know how to code.
