I’m definitely a firm believer to collect what you love and I love Dragon Ball TCG. Very fortunate that DBS cards are within reach compared to Pokemon or other TCGs. I play Fusion World and will collect Masters cards based on art. Personally, I just wrapped up collecting vintage Pokemon and now focusing on DBS. I’ll collect what catches my eye and pay what I feel comfortable with paying.

Bandai is a terrible promoter. DBS Masters should have done so much better. They fumbled the bag and screwed things up. And then they didn't give it an online client. Tournaments near me became non-existant so I had to drop the game. And I think Collectors like the game just because old cards are cheap. But if they make Masters a collector thing, that sounds sadly like it will die soon. Sadly I wouldn't trust Bandai to keep the game going once they feel like the game isn't making enough money for them. My SPR Signature Gohan is still my most cheerished card from when I played because Gohan is my favorite and Kyle Herbert is an amazing VA.

So happy to see you both guys! Great talk, I’m a believer, Dragon Ball is going to be around for a good good while, it is just such an epic IP, Bandai isn’t gonna let it go ever. My major wish is to have a strong DBSCG MASTERS community in LATAM, I know all difficulties and hard times LATAM players had in past years with prizing, and product distribution, but we’re still here living the Dragon Ball dream, playing our beloved decks, and I’m firmly convinced that we will do for a very long time. It is true there is less content creation about MASTERS now than before, that is why I opened my own channel, hoping it helps to keep the flame of the passion for MASTERS burning. Stay Supaaaaah!

I feel like after the whole bait and switch from masters to fusion world a lot of people lost interest. I quit shortly after that and started collecting optcg because I just think they have huge collectibility and a more vibrant community

I collect DBS cards. Both Fusion World and Masters. Im going to start just sticking with Masters though. Also, i have sealed booster boxes as well. Its a very expensive hobby!

Divers and Heroes maintain value a lot better than the English market that’s for sure. Any English release, day 2 SPRs are down to $6 bucks each.

Honestly I don’t mind how it is right now. Beautiful cards for not too expensive, but there are some very valuable cards. I do wish there were a little more people collecting db but not as much as Pokemon

Hell they raised the retail prices so high to the point where secondary market is ridiculous these days. At this point I just collect what really catches my eye and if I can get it for a deal.

We need hype back for dbs , everyone right now waiting until it’s super cheap. The ppl complain why their cards arnt worth anything . I still play and collect. Bad thing is te ppl that want to make money ruin the games. Like fusion when they were selling set one boxes for 200$ a box. Killed the players and collectors .

Watching this, here’s my thoughts: Yes, Dragon Ball the series is generational, but it will have to end soon and I think it’ll be soon. The only way for the show to continue is to be without Goku. We’ve seen that recently with Pokemon with no Ash. I’m a collector not a player, but I would say I’m a casual collector. I collect with my son. Fusion World presence I would say it’s still niche. I went to Front Row Card Show and only 5 vendors out of 500 had and Fusion World. Only a few more vendors had Masters but it was bulk stuff I’d say. I would love to see Fusion World to have a larger presence. I use the Collectr app and my value of my collection has dropped. Which is hard to see but I just need to hold on and continue because in the end I still enjoy DB and collecting.
