Regular Mazinkaiser sure Zero beats easily but theres one problem: this is SRW Mazinkaiser not the OVA Mazinkaiser. Zero beats any Mazinger thats "canon" something SRW Mazinkaiser isn't until the OVA. SRW Mazinkaiser in F/Final was Mazinger Z empowered by Getter Energy thus the first Mazinkaiser is born, Alpha Mazinkaiser is the first Mazinger built but sealed away because it was too powerful and Mazinger Z built as tone down of it, this Mazinkaiser in SRW X: its a mix both F/Final and Alpha Mazinkaiser's origins plus the same 7 Black Boxes Mazinger Zero has as well. Edit: also SRW Kaiser only has Kaisernova the Final Kaiser Blade is exclusive to the OVA Mazinkaiser.

Fully agree. Hell Mazin Twin Emperor Strike was the 2nd combo in years since L for Nagai/Ishikawa mechs in years if I recall correctly. An Emperor, Kaiser, Shin and Giga FDS would be a nice comeback. It's interesting how Giga and Kaiser made an appearance in Cross-Omega and how Zero, Kaiser and Emperor appeared for the first time together and also the first time Getter was absent from a console with Getter Emperor being mention in V prior existing in the future. Plus Lagann appeared alongside Zero with this being the first instance Getter was no longer with it. It makes you wonder if they are trying to add Getter Emperor as a playable unit.

There are two versions of Mazinkaiser in the SRW franchise. One is using Kaiser Nova, definitely Maruyama's version. The other is using Kaiser Blade, absolutely the OVA version. Both are cool but I will choose the Maruyama's version personally because I enjoy the story plot in its first oneshot manga in 1998.

Compared to both Fire Blaster and Kaiser Nova the Kaiser and Emperor combo feels weirdly weak, they should have had Kaiser use Nova instead of the normal Koshyryuku Beam, or at least go with a bigger beam like the one from Mazinger Z (yes i know that in the manga it went like that), or alternatively have them do something else before the finishing blow
