JP have been making good boards for years now. And their stuff is good quality. As for what board is best. It all comes down to your body weight and the conditions you are paddling in. Thanks Reuben

Really useful and clear video! I am about to buy my first isup and already have a lot of experience.. I noticed that the SE 3DS model isn't made in a 5 inch version whereas the LE 3DS is. As I weigh 70 kg, I am guessing the 5 inch LE 3DS is a better option even though its not top of the range? I will be using the board frequently on lakes, rivers and the sea. Also, does the 10,6 x 32 inch have enough glide and speed or should I opt for the Cruisair? Thank you and appreciate the content!

Hey Max. Thanks, I would opt for the Cruisair for paddling that bit further. You do have a overview video of the JP 2021 range out at the end of the week. Which will help too. Thanks Reuben

I'm trying to choose between SL and LE 3ds model, looking for a good, long-lasting board I can take someone for a ride, occasionally. And I didn't quite get it - is SL, cheaper choice is MORE rigid, than Le 3ds one?
@SUPboardermag3 жыл бұрын
Hi Alexander. .If you can afford it I would recommend going for the LE 3ds board, it will be stiffer than the SL and will paddle better with more weight on the board. And because there is more material on the board it will harder wearing especially around the rails. The SL is a good board for lighter paddlers or people putting less weight on the board in general. Hope that helps ? Reuben

Hey Ruben, I like your channel, thx for sharing! Im interested in the CruisAir LE3DS 11'6''x30''x5''. How would the stiffness compare ro the AllRound pendant LE3DS 10'6''x32''x5'' you showed in the video. Cause of using the same technology and having the same thickness, I suggest it to be a bit stiffer due to is with of 30''.

Hey Tino, Sorry for the big delay on getting back. Im sure YT have been hiding comments from us!!!! The stiffness should be exactly the same I don't believe the extra width will make a difference to the stiffness of the board. But if it does it will be very close to the board be tested. Sorry again thanks Reuben

So confused on what board to buy, need one that is going to be great river cruising with the family but one to surf with on my own.... :/

Hey Peter a general all round size would work best for that mid 10' by 32" wide. www.supboardermag.com/equipment_guide/jp-australia-allround-air-light-edition-3ds-10-6-32-2020-review/ would be good. Thanks Reuben

Hi guys, just a quick question on the superlight if you wouldn't mind. I'm planning on buying one and I'm not sure which thickness to buy, do you know the maximum pressures are for both the 5" and 6" versions as I'd like to get an idea of the achievable stiffness. Thanks
@SUPboardermag4 жыл бұрын
Hey Dan G, I don't think they make a Superlight in 5" thick? If they did the 15psi pressure would be the same. I may be going crazy this review was a few months back .lol Thanks Reuben

@@SUPboardermag thank you, I had been on a website which had an option listed as 5" for the 10' 6" model, it's now been changed so must have just been an error. Thanks for getting back to me!
