Come on, all your recommendations cost money & lots of it. Paddleboarding was brought out & is for most people, an alternative leisure activity...& for these people it's a nice weather (fantastic) activity. In the main, it's not a winter activity & certainly not one needed or wanted to spend spend spend on, for the limited time 'you' say even the most equipped will be wanting to do it. Indeed I bumped into a boarder on my local reservoir recently, who had spent £650 on winter clothing, only to tell me it was the first & last time he would be boarding again in the winter cold. Clearly it's not the same fun as more suitable & milder weather.

We understand your point, and it's of course up to the person paddling, but there are thousands of paddlers who we know love paddling all year. This video is really meant to show people that SUP can be used all winter if you get the right gear. Yes this does cost money but for many its worth it.
