Question no . 18 can be done in a very easy way X+y= 8 and x-y =4 ...if you solve you will obtain x=6 and y = 2 ..which will give a sum of 8 😊

see you made a mistake x+y=8 and x-y is 4 time smaller than the sum therefore x-y=2 eqns become x+y=8 x-y=2 solution is x=5 and y=3 ore vice versa
