It's very hard to photograph moving trains and also capture the scenery etc. It's good to see these old trains... But, I think some country "train" songs/music might enhance the photography more....My father worked on that line and I was a very young child but I recall hearing about a tragedy, a rail accident with casualty. Some naughty boys had piled a lot of rocks and stones on the rail track around Hospital Creek, allegedly. And as rail workers on a trolley tending the rail line hit this pile of rocks, it derailed, killing, I heard, a rail workman....

sweet as fuck pure gold footage, this is exactly what I want to see, good colour video of the days when VR and rail freight in vic were king.

Pity there wasn't some footage of going over the Stoney Creek trestle. The most spectacular railway trestle on the old VR network, yet it is hidden from view in the middle of the bush.
