I like the artstyle of the game and it's characters. That shouldn't be a surprise considering it was Susumu Matsushita's, Character Designer of Many works including Maximo, Monkey Magic, Bit the Cupid and many many creations.

This game was surprisingly enjoyable. Adventure Island IV on NES was also really good - I'd love to see more Adventure Island games that fully adopt the Metroidvania design formula.
