just found this game packed away.. had to look it up to reminisce. loved this game as a kid. didn’t release in North America until 1993 and I was born in 1996. My older cousin bought this game and then I played it coming up at a young age, had a lot of fun

@@NintendoComplete So sorry to find this game didn't do justice. I found the Genesis version was done by Electronic Arts (did they get a better deal?) and maybe if SNK had asked EA to do their SB2020 conversion for SNES they might have fared better.

Super Baseball 2020, Tradewest's home conversion of SNK's futuristic 1991 Neo-Geo arcade baseball game of the same title. Featuring digitized voice and familiar themes from the coin-op, the game resembles present-day baseball about as much as the Super NES resembles the NES.

Even though this port doesn't have the Crackers, I'm okay with that. Those things annoy the crud out of me. Trying to get a flyball and you're just screwed if you step wrong.

Yeah, the names are great. Johnny 6 lol. Did you ever notice how some of the final team is named after World War 2 stuff? There're names like Kamikaze, Tojo, and Goebbels. I was a bit surprised to see a Nazi war criminal on the roster.
