you know what was great? in batman origins, when you fight deathstroke. because that fight felt right, deathstroke can 1v1 hand to hand beat batman, and he fucking counters YOU

SUCKS THAT THEY PUT IT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME!!!

I was SO excited to play Mutants in Manhattan and then I took it back after the second mission. I mean, I took it back the NEXT day. And it really hurt coming after the excellent (imo) Transformers Devastation.

It is good tho. It blends the absolute batshit insane Bayverse, with Gen 1 artstyles. Put in great combat, a varied weapon system, and bullet time... I say if I was just a bit longer, it would be a contender for best Platinum game. (That goes to MGR)

I know people said this about the Star Fox game and it turned out to be inaccurate, but it REALLY feels like Platinum got screwed by the publisher on this one. All the bad design decisions that aren't usually in their games are way more typical of conventional liscenced game bullshit.

DeadBoneJones your probably right but they did two games with activition before TMNT(Korra and Transformers) and those games turned out fine

BucketDraws There were vague shades of it in those (Temple Run clone sequences in Korra, random Diablo loot drops in Transformers), but we were lucky enough that those ended up being pretty good additions. I haven't gotten a chance to get hands-on with TMNT, but everything I've heard indicates two main problems- the co-op centric design and the ability cooldowns (and other combat weirdness.) Both of those make me think of other licensed action games like Marvel Alliance and that shitty Fantastic Four game, or more indirectly the Lego games by Travelers Tales.

Tmnt on GameCube was pretty nice

Karai is even canonically a mutant with affinity for snake they could have done the boss fight in stages but maybe a strong woman is more of a platinum kind of thing to do.

I know it's late but here's an opinion, I loved the tmnt game for the ds. I mean, the combat sucks, but moving and jumping around the city, although simplistic, felt amazing and satisfying to do. Even as a kid, I tried to speed run the movement sections before I even knew what speenrunning was.

Chio Chan Genocide "Any developer with time and money can make a good product", which is bullshit lol, look at Andromeda. Have a great day everybody ;)

I like how Andromeda looks. I just wish it looked better, like a game worth the restart of a franchise or a game trying to compete with their competitors or a game that looks like it's last game by comparison at least.

As someone who loves Infinite Space to death, hearing Matt even suggest that it's the worst Platinum game triggers me so hard.
@seraphiim4448 жыл бұрын
LightningPheonix04 He didn't tho, he just mentioned it because he hadn't played it so it was a platinum game that he couldn't measure it against TMNT

Also, you shouldn't get angry at what someone else thinks about a video game. Like, ever.
