After winning a minimum of 12 games every year since 2012, the Denver Broncos & Peyton Manning were always close to a Lombardi Trophy but never could quite grasp it. After a crazy season, fueled by their defense, the Broncos found themselves in a defensive cage match with the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers looked formidable, led by dual threat and league MVP quarterback Cam Newton. I was the biggest bronco fan in my high school that year, I remember everyone telling me this panthers offense(which was a beast) was gonna blow us out due to also being in high school when super bowl 48 happened. Seeing my team win and going out to brag after it was the best experience/feeling ever.
