Indeed. In fact, in the last 2 Super Bowl appearances in Brady's career, his defenses only allowed 3 and 9 points respectively, which comes out to 6 points per game. Also Brady is 2-0 in his career when leading his offense to 13 or fewer points in the Superbowl. Every other QB in NFL history to start and finish the Superbowl when leading their offense to 13 or fewer points is 0-25 (Credit to Barry Mccockiner for those stats). Brady's accomplishments are not as impressive when you add context to them

Man its so unfortunate that the knee injuries to Cooper Kupp and Gurley deprived us of the opportunity to watch the rams beat the brakes off the Patriots. People forget how dominant Gurley had been up to that point and then he was never the same after. It's crazy how injuries to key players can completely change the trajectory of seasons.

This SB always gets overshadowed by the NOLA no call, and I feel bad for Brees fans and NO fans. In fact you weren't just robbed, everyone was. A Brees/Brady showdown was what we needed, but NFL's incompetency got in the way.

As a Patriots fan this game is a defensive clinic/masterpiece. Of course average fans will yawn but there's a lot to appreciate here. That being said, despite the win I always do wonder if the Saints game would've had more fireworks had the refs not screwed them over.
