Thanks! Great review. I just contacted DavesRCE to help me with putting Tail Light Strobes and belly spot light to help me spot my plane when it gets crowded up there (too many guys don't pay attention to the "4 Plane max in the air" rule of our club.) I got to appreciate a tail light in my EFlite RV-7 It helps with being positive with the direction of travel when the sky gets too chaotic and I let it get too far away. Going to add bright Rudder mounted rear facing navigation strobe and a belly spot light. These are just for my benefit but I think they will be really great. I already use velcro to switch my VYFLY strobes from one plane to another.

brandon great video. i am building a hangar 9 p51 20cc and want to order a light kit. im asking do the landing lights go off when gear is up and go on when gear is down? i plan to mount them the same way you did on the texan. i am using a seperate channel for the lights so i would need a mix with gear channel if they go on and off i figure.also on the mustang it has split wings which come apart so i would need to have 2 3connector plugs, 1 for each wing half and a 2 connector plug for the beacon and strobe that stay in the body. can dave do that?

Just tried putting my own lights on my Sky Surfer...didn't work too well, got super hot and started to melt the foam
