Just a little tip bud. When the crappie bite really slows down even using minnows, try lengthening the distance between the weight and hook. That will allow the minnow to swim more freely. Sometimes the crappie just can't resist it. 😎

Nice catch. That put the line to a test. My last time out I was on my regular brush pile on Oolagah, could see the fish but couldn't hook up. I did catch one dink and had about 4 bites total. Hopefully, with this cooler weather, they'll be more agreeable to my offering.
