Roger, not sure you know but there is a small microfiber dab in the handle of the Tico tool. It's designed to be lightly oiled and pulled through the barrels with the metal eye loop at the end of the Tico tool after cleaning. Just thought I'd share!

Bob...Yes there is... and I should have shown it...I don't use it because I spray the tool itself...and then wash it with a bit of detergent...you must have one...what do you think of it? Thanks and stay well!

Beretta , Italians do it better .

Thanks for uploading your tutorial. It's very helpful. I have two questions. 1) Do you only wipe clean the forend metal parts? 2) How do you clean where the choke threads are? (Do you remove chokes before cleaning the barrel thoroughly?) Thanks!

Hi Roger ! Exelent vídeo ! I have a question for you... maybe you can help. Do you know something about Marocchi shotguns? are goods like a Beretta?? Here in Argentina... Beretta IS a really expensive gun and Ir was thinking to pick a Marocchi at the half of the price

Have you ever used a bore snake, Roger? Any opinion? They seem to be the standard around here, although going back a few years I recall most used the long brush as you do here.
@rogerpace9322
@rogerpace9322 7 жыл бұрын
retro...i used a bore snake and they were good...the newer guns with their hard chromed bores clean so easily that they don't seem to need a wire brush going through them...i just use that long brush ans it does the job well.

Thanks for another great video, Roger. You may have mentioned it before, but why did you get rid of the Silver Pigeon? Second question - I see this has fixed chokes, but with the silver pigeon, did you clean the barrels with the chokes still in or remove them? Lastly, do you ever remove the ejectors to clean them? Thanks!
@rogerpace9322
@rogerpace9322 7 жыл бұрын
smackwah...good to hear from you...I traded in the silver pigeon because it did not have an adjustable stock...an adjustable stock would have cost me $500 to have installed for $1000 dollars I could buy a dedicated trap gun ...and that's what I wanted because I only shoot down the line...I always took the chokes out and regreased them...but you don't have to take them out all the time as long as you do it every month or so...I never take out my ejectors i spray them them with gun cleaner and let any gunk drain out...the ejectors will get taken out this time next year by the beretta people because they give a lifetime free service...stay well !

180...I've shot a perazzi hi tech...from people at the club that have them...they are a fine gun...I would love to own one but I can't spend that kind of money on a gun...so I will have to content myself with my 690...the odd thing is that after a few years we've spent more money on cartridges than on the gun...stay well.

Try a second hand Perazzi - Here in Europe -Azores - you can buy a second hand Perazzi as new for 3500-4000 euros - half the price of a new one. A shoot with a cartrigde - Decatlon - 28g- that costs 4 euros a box (25).
