22:15 I think this is just for making the world larger. and maybe have something at all to drop at May 4th. We've heard about the Inquisitors, but we haven't seen how they are "trained" or inducted into the order. Now we have. Barris was left imprisoned last time we saw her, now we learn more about the character, seeing that she was part of the path (that we have seen a little of in Kenobi) was nice. a modicum of redemption for her. that's my justification to tell these stories. Acolyte is less than a month away now.

4:54 You learn a bit about the grant inquisitor in Rebels, he was a Jedi, a guardian of the Temple. How he came to be the grand inquisitor I don't think has been revealed yet. (maybe a topic for another 3 short stories of tales of the Empire?)

I don’t know when he became an inquisitor but I think he was originally a temple guard

He was one of the Temple guards. Actually one who imprisoned Barriss but her speech had an impression on him. I don't know if Palpatine pushed him down on the dark side like he did with Barriss. I'm sure he wanted to.

There's a huge Barriss Offee fan base that has waited 11 years to resolve a plot twist from clone wars (some have been fans since the Medstar Novels from 2005). A LOT of fans are talking about this on KZbin, Tumblr, Deviantart, etc. You might not have realized it, but this story was a rather important resolution for Star Wars lore and the character

So what did you guys watch already? If you didnt know barris history did you not watch clone wars? Cause anaking definitely recognized her. I bet she didnt recognize him. Or maybe she sensed it when she was arrested anakin used the dark side to catch her afterall. Best part is that Barris has such a crush on anakin. funny to think about knwo
