The red stuff with the holes is sequin waste, also called punchinella. Great way to bind a journal! I love these kits…thank you for sharing ❤ new subscriber

Ok wait...what???!!!! Sewing the signatures before you sew them into the spine, you are a genius!!!!!! Oh then inking the center to be able to use that as your guideline when sewing it together??? Lol Ink those creases so u can see where to sew & just go slowly so you’re straight (I’m not a very good seamstress! lol) Also, u don’t have to sew the whole way top to bottom…. Just enough to hold pages together. ❤️❤️
