I have a question...Monkey Kaka and Mit have been confiscated by the law and their family is devastated. In Vietnam and other parts of Asia it is illegal to own them. Could the same thing happen to Luk? Is there a way around the law to keep a monkey?

Luk is also illegal. Adoption not possible in Vietnam. In rare cases, a permit is given but not for purptoses of owning a pet monkey. It is possible authorities could take luk but I don't know why they would. No abuse here. The kaka situation is strange. Certainly not a perfect experience for the monkeys but there are far worse. Some folks are saying it's fake to get views and donations. Looked real to me. But, all these monkeys on you tube are illegal in Vietnam. No owner has a permit or license. 😊

I believe monkey Kaka is in Thailand where as monkey Luk is in Vietnam, therefore laws could be different.
