I used to watch this on YTV back in the 90s. For non-Canadians out there, that's a kids' channel. I suppose the slapstick element appeals to people of all ages, but hearing the uncensored version as an adult gives me a whole new appreciation for this show and for Bob Einstein.

This is not Jackass in any way. This is a scripted comedy skit bit, with dummies and fake staging used to present a fantasy stunt. It’s basically family friendly and is going for laughs. Jackass was scripted and ad lib stunts performed by real people for shock value with comedy as a secondary element. No comparison at all other than the general idea of “stunts”.
