I love this for when I stay at hotels 😍 I used to use my niece's sound machine from when she was a baby but it only played white noise which was super crackly and distracting. I think my ears were sensitive to the higher frequencies and it just distracted me and kept me up instead of helping me sleep. Then I discovered pink noise, then brown noise and I loved the super deep brown noise (it sounds like my air conditioner which I absolutely have to have on in order to sleep) but then I found this. The mixture is like a combination of my AC (the brown noise) and the whirring of my fan (pink noise) which is what I sleep with at home. I travel a lot and this has been really great for helping me stay well rested when I'm not at home. Definite thumbs up. Thank you for uploading!

I have sensory processing issues and have problems sleeping, or rather I did until I found this channel, and finally this video (audio). I've played this through my Bose subwoofer for the last few months and usually sleep like the dead, rousing only occasionally during those random seconds of dead air. I'm leaving this comment because right now I couldn't get the video to load for a couple seconds, and during that brief moment I realized how important this video is to my sleep quality. Thank you for uploading!
@axlengland6 жыл бұрын
mirjamenny Is your sensory processing complication similar to /include synaesthesia? in any form really, like grapheme- colour where symbols have specific colours, or 'spatial sequence" where a number and date occupy 3D space. I ask because I'ven ever heard a malady so eloquently described and now I'm intriqued!! :D definitely not in any way trying to be nosy, so you can just tell me to f off in good ol you tube fashion and ill be ok with either answer. :)
@mirjamenny6 жыл бұрын
Axl England I certainly don't mind answering interesting questions, so thank you for asking. My brain is creatively-wired, so it experiences the world a little differently from a sensory perspective; I can taste and smell colour, but I do not associate colours with numbers or letters, although I do personify them. Unfortunately, my synaesthesia also comes with a downside: the dreaded misophonia, which is the worst (loud chewing/breathing specifically), and misokinesia (people fidgeting and fast repetitive motions). A huge reason I'm sleeping to this video every night! :D

Just imagine: Your standing on a beach at the shore listening to the ocean waves. it is quite cold and cloudy. you are the only one here. the sky above you is starting to get darker as the sun sets. there is a slight breeze gently tickling your hair as you stand in the sand. and as you listen to the waves, something loosens in you a little when you understand that the earth is just resting. you let a breath out, the one you have been holding in all day, and it puffs out like fog surrounding your head, reminding you to keep breathing. you are not late or early, in fact, you are right on time. dont stress it :)
