Cute! Also, it may not be that you were heavy handed that gave you the flakes. I know you said you had used these products before but had you used them together before? Maybe they don't mix well with each other and that's what caused the flakes?

For some reason the middle section of my hair is puffier than the roots or ends in most sections. So I have to braid the 1st half of that section instead of twisting it.
