sir i have a doubt as you know %S is directly proportional to bond angle . we also know in TBP the bond angle between the two axial atoms is 180 and the angle between two adjacent equitorial atoms is 120 . so axial bonds have more bond angle than equitorial bonds . so according to the relation that %s character is directly proportional to bond angle , axial bonds should have more %s character than equitorial bonds . there lone pair should go towards axial position since there is more %s character there but it is not so . sir plese help me with this doubt
