If you are going to make a ton of these out of the same paper why not just cut the diamonds all at once then glue a strip at the fold of the amount you need. That will enable you to mix and not waste any of your paper. It is an extra step but then it does nit matter if you cut through the fold. Just measure diagonals across the whole sheet of paper. That way you could use your crafting roller cutter to get through the process quicker. It might be best to use the stick glue to attach the trip along to fold to keep them together than regular liquid glue. of course you always have the glue gun!

In order not to cut through cut from the fold side to the edge since you have more control of your cutter than trying to hit the spot at the fold.

You need are a pieces of paper 11 x 21 cm. Use any type of paper, but more thick paper looks better. I used pearl shimmer paper 160 gr/m
