Yes that edge control for the part is the best trick...Just use a smaller tooth when parting and it will be straighter. Yours looks great tho! 😍 love the style, thanks for the inspiration !!

I did this! It's super cute! Only thing is, if you're not good at braiding the feed in braids are super hard and frustrating. I did flat twists and came out just as good!

This is a good idea. I think I’ll braid the whole head first connecting the front braids to the back and braiding it all down, then adding the hair for a more seamless look & no need for the ponytail in the back.

Did this look, super cute! what I did differently was I left some of my natural hair at the part section out to blend and not notice the bumps. Instead of buying new hair I recently took out braids and used that hair and made it look so natural. *I didn't feel like going to buy new hair when I could reuse my braided hair*

ISSA LOOK tips: use a metal-ended tail comb, do 6 braids instead of four and try to braid without looking, that always helps me

I suggest getting a rat tail comb that has the skinny metal tail. I have the comb your use and one with a metal tail and I more precise parts. Love this hairstyle.

Helps the crochet hair stay in place, last a little longer, protects your natural hair and keeps the hair from slipping out. Worth a try. Thank u for this style!!!

I did this hairstyle and I am absolutely in love with it !! 😌 I keep getting compliments.. I used 2 packs of 3 piece deep wave crochet hair and it only took a couple hours, if that.. @@Icy-ih9iv im fucking late as hell i am so sorry…you probably already got your hang of it by now but i just put it into a ponytail/bun in the back of my head, lay it down with a scarf and throw a bonnet on to feel real secure at night. i never added product or water to my crochet hair before but im sure people do that too to help maintain curl. the most i do is finger detangle to get snags.

(You said you start your braids far back) braid the first section of hair 3 times before you start grabbing the next piece of hair (its so hard to explain😂) like start off the braid like an individual braid after you braid 3 times start grabbing hair and then continue cornrowing.

Parting tip: use your nose as a guide. Start from the trip and go straight up with the tip of the comb to start the middle part

I comb my hair foward like bangs and then part it. That helps me.

I used to be quite bad at braids too. What I can say is, start a braid/plait before you cainrow with a VERY thin section, it will start further up and be cleaner. Also take smaller sections going down and pull them tighter. "Think small" even though it may not actually be a small braid if you get my drift?
