If you added an 'Optics Compensation' effect and checked the 'Reverse Lens Distortion' box, increase the value to liking, and it will make the effect more 3D. Great effect!

To align the anchor point perfectly in the middle: hold ctrl on your keyboard and then double left click on the anchor point tool. This will align it perfectly in the middle!

Hey Jordy. I just wanted to say, that you are my favorite youtuber and my biggest inspiration. I was very uneducated in editing, but then I found you. You have inspired me forever. When we had a major essay on who we look up to, I chose you, I wrote an entire expository on you. You are also very kind, and you care for your people, you are also so humble. Thank you for being such a good person..

I would add an ease to the animation though. An ease is when the zoom starts slow, builds up speed, and then slows down again. It gives the animation a more realistic movement.

Very good tutorial! Thanks! As for the animation controller layer, I would recommend creating a null and linking everything to that instead of manually setting the anchor point to the center of the screen. Because the null's initial position will be already at the center of the composition.

This is a great example showing that all lenses have the same perspective (compression). Tele-compression must be the biggest myth in photography. Only moving closer or further away will change the perspective. Changing lenses just changes the crop.

Always wondered how they did such a crazy zoom in limitless. turns out it's just a huge amount of work.
@mrCarStyling5 жыл бұрын
No, you are wrong. See in details, how weak is the edit by the video part on the end. It's not only a huge amount of work, you need crazy precise camera settings, camera angles and a bunch of camera, with talented and experted workers. It't not only a huge amount, on the same time it's a "huge" of quality and money, too, as it seems like.
@MacMan21525 жыл бұрын
mrCarStyling i think you are wrong too. those huge zoom in/outs can be seen in "a clockwork orange" by stanley kubrick. when this movie came out adobe after effects didn't exist. They used a lense that has a big range of focal lengths or something and didn't bother to take multiple shots. I don't know how they did it in the movie from this video but it is possible that this is just a zoom in as well.

Great tutorial! For the video at the end, is it necessary to have three cameras if it isn't movement in the frame like a car?

No, you could also make 3x static video like with the photo examples. The only reason you need 3 cameras is to sync up moving objects like cars.

Can someone answer this... Why when I tried to do zoom out multiple images in nested sequensce which looks like this tutorial (in reverse). The pictures that is scaled down inside nest gets pixelated, even the picture has 4000 pixels and my sequence only 1920. It is like scaling down means decreasing pixels Because when i scaled down 1 picture to 10% and compare it with the same picture that has 100% scale with the same ratio. The 10% scale gets pixelated while 100% scale looks so fine My question is, hiw to scale down, but not loosing its quality?
