I made this recipe tonight and thought I’d share my results. I seasoned similar to her except for the slap mama season..I used a bit of old bay instead and a couple grind of bbq seasoning. I baked mine in a pan on a baking rack and covered with foil on 325 for 2hrs. Without foil for another 30 minutes then I based with bbq sauce and baked for another 5-10 minutes on 350 to set the sauce. FALL OFF THE BONE and sooooo moist and tender. I know I didn’t follow her exactly but she gave me a great base start. I just thought from my experience with my oven that a full 3 hrs on 350 without foil would have given me a dryer than desired result

Skip the salt if you use the slap-ya-mama seasoning. It has a lot of salt in it and people can always salt their ribs to taste after they are cooked. But that's a minor/personal thing...this is a road to great ribs!

@@MrChillybee hey, I put mine on 300 and yes I put them on a rack because I didn’t want the bottom to fry for that very reason lol. Her seasonings are very good tho, I did the mustard technique and I think I’m gonna adopt that lol. I didn’t use as much seasoning as her though and they still came out very flavorful. I made your recipe for the rub and then used my own for the sauce. Your rub made them PERFECT! I am in love with this rub creation of yours! Super super delicious! I made pork ribs and did your rub, waited 10 minutes to allow the rub to set in. I put them onto a cookie sheet, and then I covered the ribs tightly with aluminum foil and placed the ribs into my 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. I removed the foil and then slathered my BBQ sauce onto them. I put the oven on broil/hi and cooked another 15 minutes to caramelize the sauce. Perfect! Note: I have a propane oven which takes longer to cook.

I slather the ribs up with sweet baby rays golden mustard and massage it in I go heavy on seasonsing no salt because I use a salted butter, Get every inch of it including the sides. Then I make sure to pat the seasoning in no rubbing it and grade frozen salted butter. I do wrap ribs to keep the mositure in let it sit for 15-20mins which makes its own sauce basically and then I throw it on the grill for some char. There is no need for bbq sauce. mosit, chard fall off the bone.

So, the ribs are just awesome. As far as to cover or not to cover, I asked myself how would I bake them & I did the opposite. Baked uncovered. But I think they may be best covered next time. Damn, they tender! Hope I don't misstake a finger for a tender rib. Fans Might have to see you and I on TV. People s court🤤

Ok, so i found an incredible deal on a solid rack of meaty baby backs just under $7. I was looking for something new to introduce to my mouth. I followed this recipe to the letter, but must admit to combining the dry seasonings into a bowl and marrying them into a single rub. Please do this! I placed them into the oven at 6:30 pm and went for a long Sunday motorcycle ride. I set the timer for 2 1/2 hours at 350 just in case my oven didn't shutoff in time. Well, I rode into my backyard 45 minutes past my cook time (15 minutes past the recipe). Even tho the top was a bit barky, the underside was succulent, a little fatty and crazy moist. So perfect for what I was in the mood for. I cut off a piece of the driest section and it was still crisp, moist and crazy delicious! The smell when I walked through the door was insane! That dry rub with the mustard base was so good that I had to put the bbq on the side just for occasional dipping. I pared this with Stoufer's mac n cheese, fresh com on the cob and summer squash n onions. Omg, thank you so much for this incredible recipe which such a sharp contrast to what I'm use to. This is a must have in any foodie's arsenal. Crazy good!😋

Thank you so much for this video! Can oil be added to the ribs before you place it into the oven? If not, why? I’m just curious☺️
