This is powerfull!!! I have backtested it over the weekend and it surely is what I needed. Already did 50 tests and I stand on 60% success. Doing like this for 1 year, added the AO to check alignment, multiple crosses 30 or 70 line I add to my position and move the initial SL, works out pretty good. Keep your videos comin bro!

Great strategy! I use a 2 period RSI on a 15 min chart, with overbought indicator set to 90 and oversold to 10. Heikin Ashi candles and EMA 200 defines the trend. Works especially well on forex pairs around the opening of the European session and the US stock indices (US30 and Nasdeq 100) during the Asian session when moves aren't so volatile.

very true, even as a beginner I understand one has to understand what the indicator is designed to tell you. Myself, I use 80/20 on the RSI and look at going into oversold (below 20) and then crossing back up above 20 as part of a buy signal. Going into overbought (above 80) and then crossing back below as a sell.

This is great and makes sense if you follow the channel. You want to see divergence in the RSI which in itself is what you are wanting to enter this trade. Grabbing a position as the currency goes into the "over" position then you are grabbing a little while you wait to get the divergence which is essentially lower lows or higher highs while the RSI goes the opposite direction giving you your small profits before going into your reversal trade. This is a great strategy!! Thank you for all your tools and knowledge sharing!!

Thanks for sharing the idea about RSI use in over sold & over bought levels. Statistically speaking, 65% of winning rate is still considered fairly even as it will even out if you tested it out over a longer period. My take is that when RSI has reached an oversold or over bought levels, it means that you are blind sighted if you try to rely on It as signal. It can go either way. I would suggest to go to a higher time frame to see if there are rooms for further movement. If RSI on H1 time frame has reached over sold or over bought levels, go to a higher level such as H4 to see if it is also at similar level. I am quite certain that in most of your profitable cases, the RSI in higher time frame has room to grow further. Therefore, your idea of disregarding RSI at oversold or over bought levels carries 50% of risk. This is just my view of interpreting RSI at these extreme levels. Hope this helps.

Hi...been testing this strategy for a few days. For me I found the 70/30 levels were very late on really good moves. So I now use 45/55 as my OB/OS levels...much better results...I also use 200ema as my baseline...above 200 only buy....below 200 only sell...

@@temirraellis4304 standard are fine. It depends on the timeframe. Like 15min candles with 14 period RSI works fine just be sure to wait for it to do the 123. 1 - break structure, 2 - retest that structure, 3 - give the candle showing the movement out of the retest.

nice... something i haven't learned yet was the RSI... always see comments on webull about "ohhhh rsi is _____ totes a reversal coming." and then ... the reversal never comes.. haha.. figured i'd learn RSI and what potentials there are with it.... again... I've been watching basically everything you put out over the last week and a half and i appreciate it very much... trading with confidence.. although i can't shortsell on my account since i'm a small fish... i have been playing with the paper trading account and using different strategies.. was able to gain 1000 off of yesterdays trade day... (papertrade) my own personal account i'm only up like... 25-40 bucks here and there off of a 500 account... alot of people want to get rich and have no idea what they're doing other than buying the hype... i, wanna learn the ins and outs of this entire market and make something out of it over time.... i'm sure by now you're like dam this is a long ass comment... well it is.. and.. in short THANKS FOR PUTTING IN THE TIME AND EFFORT

Great strategy, definitely will backtest it. @14:28 where you have the red, I also see a RSI divergence which tells me if there’s an overbought or oversold but RSI divergence not to take the trade. But I’ll set my rules after testing. Thanks dude.

Hey Steven, I did some back testing with the OB being 66 and OS being 33 and RSI being 10 on 15 min time frame and coming out with better results with 20 EMA. Just observation you may want to try it. Really great strategy! I got really high numbers when becktesting multiple currencies. EURAUD is the best with 76% winrate so far. Edit: I forgot to mention that my backtesting was with a RR of 2!

@@ivanlovric1197 1H. It doesn't work on all pairs and on all timefrimes, but i'm still backtesting it on pairs. You don't have to believe me, you can backtest is yourself with EURAUD or EURJPY (60%). I tested all of them with a RR of 2. Of course I tested it with just 50 trades over a period of +- 6 months. When I backtested all the pairs I will do 50 more trades on the pairs which gave me 55%+ winrate.

@@ivanlovric1197 What was your result on GBPUSD? I did use couple of pips, but nog a fixed one. What I noticed is that when price is not heading your direction, chances are little that it will come close to your SL and then turn around to hit your target. So untill now in my backtesting, it doesn't matter whether you put your SL 5 or 10 pips above your entry cause if i'm right then it will head to target and it doesn't come very close to my SL (sometimes it takes some time when it goes sideways). But if i'm wrong then it will hit my SL of course, wheter 5 or 10 pips away from my entry. Hope you understand what I mean.

When markets reach the extreme of the RSI, Usually there is a smaller pull back to either structure or an EMA (20). Then a further push to a greater push in price but lower RSI creating divergence

Stop at 10:22 it is clearly seen that the previous short entry would have been a loss. The long before that would have been a loss, too. And probably the short entry (at around 12) before that long position would have been breakeven or loss. Just in case you think it is magic.

Really appreciate your channel. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on using two factors. 1. RSI and 2. Patience...with no stop/loss placed. Waiting for a point where the RSI hits oversold/overbought along with some confluence measures, and then just sitting tight and being patient till the things turn around. This works better if you use the 50 line as bullish/bearish momentum. Anything about 50 is bullish momentum and anything below 50 is bearish. Also if you use divergence and plot a higher time frame on the RSI and use the crosses, that is good sign for a reversal. So the RSI can be used both for trend following and reversal if you read it correctly and you use higher time frames. When it is used as confirmation with leading indicators such as S/R levels and SMC etc it is very powerful and you can increase winning rate to 80%.

i dont know about trading..ex chart pattern ,candle,pips ,snr, etc. just only learning divergence AO+RSI> wide and tight so marking supply on demand zone,.. scapl shortly then percentage trade< win 80 and loss 20. really work RSI. Hopefully can learn more advantage technique.

@@jennywilliams3203 Yeah since 2016 or 17 I don't really recall it but yeah this is actually helpful if I don't greedy and just taking 10% of each trade. And I just try to implement this in my own way. And yeah, hopefully, see a good result in the next 6 months... And I do still learning though so it's helpful to get new knowledge. I really do appreciate content with knowledge!
