I have an app called meme soundboard that I find meme clips and email them to myself(but you can do what ever) then when you have them on your PC, import them as media (The shared media file is the best so you only have to import them once) Then just drag and drop it where you want! If you have video and audio for you meme but only want the audio, then right click the clip and detach audio, then, delete the video portion. Let me know if this helps!

Hey Codito, you can do this with in the Media window with Import > Import with Instant Cutter Tool. The Instant Cutter Tool will let you quickly trim or merge clips without re-encoding.
