I love the way you used a very like tint of yellow colour for doing the wet wash, I really struggle to see the area I have wet and could use this for other paintings. I'm having to use a LED lamp to see the wet area. Thanks for this!

Love it! You get such beautiful dispersal of pigments. I don't get that nice flow consistently. It's hit or miss for me.

Me too, I bought Arches paper, yupo, M. Graham watercolors, and Ox gall (it's supposed to help with dispersal). I'm going to try the preparation fluid next. It is frustration sometimes, but I'm going to keep pushing forward with small projects like this one.

Did you treat your pallet with anything to not make it bead up your washes? I like how you can actually see the color your mixing rather than little beads of color like some plastic pallets.

Jaci Howald most new palettes do that. Just keep using it and eventually it will stop!

Liquid ox gall helps as well. I can't stand the beading up so I found that a few drops of winsor and newton ox gall and it flows like a dream. Incase you still have this issue.
