I downloaded that Zetor Major 80 mod, at least i assume the one i downloaded is the same as yours. The XML for that tractor uses 2 files for the tires: TM600/250_85R24, and file TM100/270_95R38. The 250_85R24 is not considered a care tire by the game. the isCareWheel value is to false. while the other tire is set as a care tire. The mod itself doesn't set the wheels as care tires either. So basically your front tires while appearing narrow still destroy crops, and your rear tires shouldn't destroy crops. And that's what appeared to happen when i re-watched that section of your video. It seemed only your front wheels did damage to the potatoes.

I would suggest turning the original trailer back to a grain hauler. You have a flatbed for bales and pallets and a forestry trailer for logs. So, returning your grain trailer back from a log trailer, especially for the potato harvest, may be a good idea if your tractors can pull 2 or have 1 on each.

Had the same issue on my last playthrough, narrow tires and still crop destruction, so would also like to know why that is. Maybe a new bug introduced with the latest update? Idk

could be the size of the tractor small Tractors are low ground clearance & potatoes are a medium sized plant (Using Corn stalks & Sun Flowers as LARGE crops) so maybe taller crops now get destroyed by small tractors...?

@@Torkkar play mostly with large Tractors, Xerons and Fendts mostly, so not sure... maybe self propelled Sprayers are just the best way of doing spraying and spreading in established crops now. Not sure tho 😅

@@Disguised_K1NG well I play with Precision farming so I'm stuck using that mods tow behind John Deere sprayer as its the ONLY ONE that has the spot spray option to not cause crop yield loss & Maintain filed score of 99 to max crop sell bonus. so i don't have the option of self propelled sprayers. that being said i was able to reproduce this error using wheat & small tractors while Medium tractors passed over no problem, Potatoes needed large tractors that were not Track driven to pass a sprayer over it.

Maybe the sprayer didn't have row-crop / narrow tyres? Which cancelled out the tractor narrows?

After the latest update I don't get crop destruction on growing fields but on ready to harvest. I don't have narrow tyres and crop destruction on

The biggest problem I have with that sprayer is it’s very slow. But saving on liquid is definitely a benefit

A plausible reason the crop was getting destroyed is you were going at an angle to the direction of the crop being planted. potato crops are highly visible which direction the crops run. But this is just an assumption.

I'm fairly sure it was the sprayer destroying the crop as it doesn't have narrow tyres.

The small tractors are for grape harvesting that's why the narrow tires don't work.

The kubota equipment pack is great for small farms like this, it’s on mod hub, the 3 point sprayer I use on about every play through. But there’s lots of equipment that really should be base game in there.

when pre-spraying for weeds I think I usually did it after lime to make it easier to see where I've been

Some vehicles narrow tyres don't work with the premium add on annoyingly, I've ran into that exact same issue a few times, I haven't ran into it with a tractor that's been modded, only base game tractors

It doesn’t matter what tyres you have on if you have crop destruction on you will always destroy your crops when they are on second stage

You didnt select narrows on that new sprayer. you may need to check that in the future to avoid more destruction.

I don't think that the crop was being destroyed but it was the fullyig that was being destroyed. Because Don't you have to cut the fullyig to get to the potatoes

Don't think the see and spray makes financial sense. Tote is $2k took less than 1 tote to do that big ole field. You would have to turn that field over 20 times to make back the money you'd spend on see and spray system. By the time you save that much on herbicide you'll be wanting in a different sprayer
